Ryan is a fantastic counsellor, who I couldn't recommend more highly. He recently supported my teenage son through a very difficult time; not only helping him to open up about the struggles he was having but also in feeling more positive about himself and his situation. He has an incredibly kind, reassuring, understanding and positive manner. This, together with his wealth of experience helped my son feel at ease immediately. He listened carefully to my son and they worked on a plan of action together with regular reviews along the way. This was crucial in helping my son to understand the progress he was making, how much better he was feeling and also where more work was needed. It is a priceless gift to have a happy, engaged teenager again; who feels well equipped to deal with life's challenges and also positive about the direction his life is travelling in- thank you Ryan.
From the very start of counselling Ryan has been incredibly kind, patient and never put any pressure on me to talk about things I found uncomfortable and even when doing so he was very understanding. Throughout counselling we talked about problems and he gave me techniques to deal with them which I still use and find very helpful. He is very easy to talk to and is incredibly considerate when opening up to, he never judged and never came across as judging . After all the sessions it no longer felt like counselling but talking to a best friend who understands you. I am incredibly grateful for everything he has helped me with and this has definately improved my way of thinking and dealing with life. Thank you so much Ryan.
